About Us

Hi my name is Claire and I run Weston Spirals Twirling Team.  I have been twirling for over 25 years  and was originally a member of  The Worley Bird Majorettes founded by the late George Harvey.  I was the Drum Major for Worley Birds and I used to train all the girls in the different age groups for the different sections. 

Five years ago I decided to start up a troupe in Weston.  We started with 8 girls and the troupe has now grown and we have about 35 girls in our team. 

We are members of  South West Baton Twirling Association and we compete in three different sections. Military routines, Twirling routines and Pom Pom routines and we have been very successful to date.  In the summer we also perform at outdoor events and fetes.

We train on a Saturday morning at the Campus.  If you would like to join our team or would like our team to perform at your event please contact me for further details.

Due to popular demand, I also run beginner classes On Tuesdays at Castle Batch Community Centre.  If you are interested and would like to find out more please contact me.
